Jan 07, 2016
For the 2015 Portland Business Journal Most Admired Companies Award luncheon, CEOs from across the state were asked to nominate their top three selections of most admired companies in various categories. From the hundreds of submissions, the nominees were ranked by order and frequency.
Leading a field of numerous collaborators and project partners, Gerding Edlen was awarded “Most Admired Company” in the field of Commercial Real Estate. Accepting the award was Managing Partner, Molly Bordonaro.
“Our properties are embraced by renters who genuinely want to live in buildings that are smartly designed to enhance their lifestyle, to support their engagement with fellow tenants and the community and that are reflective of sustainable values,” said Bordonaro.
Bordonaro went onto to say that “…we are very positive about Portland’s future.” Gerding Edlen continues to invest locally with a $37 million mixed-use project in Old Town Chinatown, slated to open in 2016. Of the future, Bordonaro said “If we continue to focus on … what characteristics neighborhoods desire and what is positive for communities, then I believe we will still be doing very well.”
