Preforming 28% more efficiently than a typical building, Troy Boston is proud to have been awarded a LEED Gold certification by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Troy Boston features impressive efficiency and tailored amenities including a pool deck, rooftop deck, yoga studio and commissioned art by local Boston artists - all situated with expansive South End views.

With sustainability at the core of Troy Boston, 54% of the building’s electricity and 100% of the heat used for the building’s hot water is generated onsite through a 75 kW co-gen unit. A high efficiency façade helps maintain building temperature throughout Boston’s varied seasons. The energy saved at Troy Boston is enough to power 147 single-family homes.

Each apartment features a NEST® Learning Thermostat™ which “learns” the heating and cooling habits of residents and turns the system off when no one is home, meaning lower bills for residents and a lower energy profile for the building overall. Energy star-rated appliances also support lower energy use and real-time energy monitoring allows residents and facilities staff to track building efficiency.

Troy Boston is a 378-unit mixed-use apartment building located in Boston’s South End neighborhood. The building features a 19-story high-rise tower and adjoining mid-rise tower with approximately 6,000 square feet of retail space. Troy Boston is Gerding Edlen’s third development in Boston.
