Co-developers Gerding Edlen and Williams & Dame Development hired ZIBA Design to devise a marketing strategy for their South Waterfront project, a 38-acre, mixed-use, riverfront neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Consumer research led to the creation of storytelling brochures and the Discovery Center, a museum-like space designed to give buyers a sense of what life would be like in the neighborhood upon its completion. The Meriwether, the first complex in the development, sold out in six months. Eighy-four percent of the homes in the John Ross, the second building, sold in only six days.
