Luxury Green Residences in Downtown Los Angeles
Our third residential mixed-use development to break ground in South Park, Evo is redefining how people live in downtown Los Angeles. Rather than a series of separate housing developments, each of our buildings in South Park (Elleven, Luma, Evo) work together to realize our vision of a pedestrian-oriented neighborhood that blends quality housing, vibrant street life and new business opportunities. The 23-story Evo has 311 one- and two-bedroom urban homes and five 2-story townhomes that are accessible from a lush interior park. Building amenities include a large, open roof terrace plaza with a pool and spa. On the top floor we created a lounge with a deck, outdoor fireplace and entertainment bar available to residents and their guests as well as a fitness center. Homes have hardwood floors, wood cabinetry in a variety of choices, stainless steel appliances, designer countertops and fixtures, full building WiFi, decks and balconies, operable windows, walk-in closets and ceiling heights up to 11 feet. Evo, like our other South Park projects, adheres to strict green standards for the health of its residents and to reduce impact on the environment. It was designed to reduce energy use by up to 15 percent over national standards through efficient heat pumps in the units, high performance glazing to reduce solar heat gain and increased insulation throughout the building. Evo was designed to reduce water usage by 30 percent through low flow kitchen and bathroom fixtures, and an efficient hot water system. It is on track to receive LEED Silver Certification from the USGBC. Evo is being developed by The South Group, a joint venture between Williams & Dame Development and Gerding Edlen Development Company, LLC.
