10-story LEED Gold Class A Office space with Ground-Floor Retail

To be socially and economically sustainable in the Brewery Blocks, Gerding Edlen needed to create a diverse mix of office and retail space, services, art and education centers and housing. The block's low-rise podium preserves the pedestrian scale along the street, and the high-rise tower is intentionally set away from adjacent towers to improve daylighting and views. Block Four won PGE's EarthAdvantage Award in 2002.
