Gerding Edlen sells Green Cities II property, Troy Boston

The 378-unit, LEED Gold property was sold to Equity Residential

Gerding Edlen has sold Troy Boston, a Green Cities II property, to buyer Equity Residential. The property, which consists of 378 apartment units and 6,000 sq. ft. of retail, is located in Boston, Massachusetts in the city’s dynamic South End neighborhood.

Troy Boston opened in March 2015 and consists of one 19-story high-rise tower and a second 11-story mid-rise tower with numerous amenities, diverse unit types, high end finishes and numerous sustainability features that contribute to its LEED Gold certification. The development of Troy Boston was transformational for the South End of Boston, which has since become a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood that is the epicenter of cultural activity and home to some of Boston’s finest restaurants, shopping, cafes and galleries.
